With 26,200 square metres, the largest hotel in the North Rhine-Westphalian metropolis will open in early 2022. 85% of the space will be used as a hotel with 235 rooms and 196 apartments. The remaining 15% will be used as office space.
In addition to the high quality of the products, the Labor Strauss Group was able to convince with great experience in project management. The customer is already supported in the tender phase with design planning and concept implementation. Constant accessibility as well as ongoing construction supervision ensure an optimal result. For LST, care is at the heart of everything we do. Since June 2021, a total of five employees of the Labor Strauss Group have been working together with the fire brigade and the TÜV to protect the building. However, project planning and detailed work and assembly planning have already started in April.
LST supplies two Fire Detection Control Panels Series BC600 with around 2,000 fire detectors and 850 sirens. In addition, two emergency lighting control panels with 500 emergency luminaires ensure safe exit from the building in the event of a power failure. The fault alarm systems are equipped with 520 modules that can process around 1,000 signals. This ensures sufficient reserves.
The high level of competence of the LST experts is once again used in the networking of the individual systems so that everything runs smoothly in case of an emergency. With the interconnection and the modular design, a high level of fail-safety is guaranteed. There are also visual advantages. By installing them in a new building, fire alarm cables and other lines could discreetly disappear under plaster. A trial run of the fire alarm, fault alarm and security lighting systems is scheduled to take place in December so that proper functioning is guaranteed when the complex opens.
