The Labor Strauss Group supports the Sterntalerhof hospice in Loipersdorf-Kitzladen in southern Burgenland, which has been offering support and companionship to seriously ill children and their families for more than 25 years.
In the protected environment of the facility, families are accompanied on their journey back to everyday life – even in situations that involve saying goodbye to a loved one. In addition to inpatient stays, the programme includes special services such as sibling weeks and support for affected families.
An interdisciplinary team of professionals in therapy, education, psychology, social work, psychotherapy and pastoral care, as well as therapy horses, provide loving, professional support for the children.
