Under the current circumstances, holding the 7th symposium "Technik im Krankenhaus" on the 12th of May 2020 in the Hospital North in Vienna became impossible. Therefore, the organiser had frantically searched for another way to bring together in one place the expertise of the speakers, the participants that were eager for knowledge, and the outstanding solutions and products of the exhibitors.
The symposium was held on the 12th of May from 9:00 to 13:30, and for the first time it was a pure virtual conference and fair! The approximately 250 participants who had subscribed to the symposium could attend the 8 talks which were given in the form of video conferences. Renowned experts gave talks about various hospital areas and afterwards answered questions by live chat.
At interactive exhibition stands, industry representatives used live chat to inform about innovative products and solutions and offer information material for download. Labor Strauss was also present with a virtual exhibition stand and was available to the participants with extensive know-how and plenty of experience.
