New edition – full compliance with standards for Austria and Germany
With the entry into force of EN 50726-1:2024 and its national implementation OVE EN 50726-1:2025-08-01, the requirements for emergency and hazard alarms (NGRS alarms) in Austria and Germany are now binding. Our HME series manual call points fully comply with these requirements and offer maximum safety for critical applications in schools, government agencies, companies or public institutions. This makes our manual call points the future-proof solution for all new installations and retrofits in the field of emergency and hazard response systems.
Outstanding performance features
The robust die-cast aluminium housing gives the manual call point its unique appearance and exceptional stability. It is shatterproof and retains its colour even after years of use. This makes the emergency manual call point a long-lasting investment that works reliably even in demanding environments – unlike products with plastic housings, which can tend to fade or deform.
The manual call point is clearly marked with unambiguous standard symbols and the word ‘EMERGENCY’. Users benefit from its immediate recognisability – a significant contribution to safety. An NGRS alarm must be labelled ‘EMERGENCY’. If connected directly to the police, the label ‘POLICE EMERGENCY CALL’ may be used in consultation with the police (printed on the back of the insertable door sign). The specification must be documented in the technical risk management file.
The visual LED trigger indicator provides direct feedback in the event of an alarm. This gives users the certainty that an alarm has actually been triggered – for maximum safety in critical situations.
Thanks to its high protection classes (IP43, optionally IP54 or IP65), the manual call point can be adapted to different operating conditions – from modern office buildings to public meeting places.
Its ergonomic design with a door that opens more than 180°, a self-closing lock cover and installation-friendly details makes installation and maintenance much easier. The result: quick commissioning, easy servicing and maximum operational reliability throughout its entire service life.
