Fire detection control panels from Austria protect all over the world

9th international partner meeting of the Labor Strauss Group

9th international partner meeting of the Labor Strauss Group

Partners from three continents came to Rust, Burgenland, to attend the 9th international partner meeting of the Austrian Labor Strauss Group. The focus of interest at the get-together were special products and further developments of the Fire Detection Control Panel BC600, the flagship of the Austrian family business. The Series BC600 is used all around the globe in buildings and systems of all sizes.

In many countries of Europe and the world, special products „made in Austria“ are in demand.
The centre of attention of this year's meeting, which more than 40 partners from 17 countries attended, were mainly special building security products, such as wireless fire detection systems or specific extinguishing control panels for the protection of data or historical values. The leading European manufacturer of professional danger detection systems has been standing for innovation and quality for decades, and in many niches it also ranks among the top players. Stefan Friedl, Managing Director of LST: „As an owner-managed medium-sized company we are flexible enough to develop niche and special products for our customers.“ The possibility of buying small quantities as well is popular among many customers far beyond Austria. On top of that there is the expertise of experienced employees of many years' standing, as well as the fact that products are manufactured exclusively in the Labor Strauss Group's own production plants in Austria and Germany. Accordingly there is much interest all over the world in custom-designed solutions and products of Labor Strauss. The group of companies, which also includes the MEP-Gefahrenmeldetechnik GmbH in Germany, already exports to some 40 countries of the world, the export share is approximately 70 percent.

Fire Detection Control Panels Series BC600
In the course of this year's partner meeting, among other things, new features of the LST fire detection control panels, which are known for their longevity and reliability, were presented. They combine intelligent loop technology with selectable detector protocol and proven conventional technology. Thanks to their modular concept, the flexible upgradeability and the networking capability, the control panels are ideally suited for systems of all sizes. The BC600 is used, for example, in the Natural History Museum Vienna, which houses some 30 million objects from three centuries, in the City Hall Erfurt, Germany, as well as in the Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. REACT, an innovative APP which allows mobile access to systems through a mobile phone, has also been provided with new features. In addition, emergency and emergency escape lighting systems have been added to the product portfolio. Stefan Friedl: „As a result, we can offer our partners an even wider, reliable range of products from a single supplier.“
